Moving for renovations

The old locomotive and four wagons which have been parked since 1964 at the Alte Feste museum were moved yesterday.

They are being transported to Arandis where they will be restored at the Namibia Institute for Mining Technology. It is not known if the locomotive and the wagons, which have become landmarks at the Alte Feste, will return. Photos: Tanja Bause
