The Only Hero?

IT SEEMS to me that the only hero we have in Namibia is former President Sam Nujoma. Everything is to be named after him or is honouring him. What happened to the rest?

I respect Andimba Toivo ya Toivo as a founding father too. He started OPO, which was later renamed Swapo but that’s never taught or preached the way they preach about Nujoma.
Every statue that was recently created resembles Sam Nujoma.
Why not resemble other heroes like Toivo ya Toivo, Libertina Amathila, Chief Hendrik Witbooi, Chief Samuel Maharero, Hidipo Hamutenya or Chief Mandume?
If Lüderitz was to be renamed, I hope it will be renamed after the Nama or Herero in memory of the genocide, because we do not even hear about the genocide.
It’s all Swapo, Sam Nujoma, exile kids and the veterans.
