Election officials use the ultra-violet light to check whether President Hifikepunye Pohamba has no traces of invisible ink on his fingers before he is allowed to vote in Windhoek.

NAMIBIANS lined up from around 04h00 this morning to cast their  votes in the  fourth Presidential and National Assembly elections.  An estimated record 1,13 million voters have registered as President  Hifikepunye Pohamba and his ruling Swapo Party seek a new mandate  amidst a strong challenge by the new kid on the block, Rally for Democracy and  Progress.
