Prowealth CEO commits suicide

THE CEO of the Prowealth financial group of companies was found dead at his home yesterday morning.

The Police said Riaan Potgieter died of a single gunshot wound, presumably self-inflicted.

In a short statement released late yesterday afternoon, Prowealth marketing strategist Rudi Erasmus stated that no foul play was suspected.

“It is with tremendous sadness and profound shock that Prowealth has to announce the untimely passing away of our CEO Riaan Potgieter. He will be sorely missed by all of us,” the company stated. Potgieter is survived by his wife and two children, aged 11 and 14.
