The Blind Side, A Prequel!

By: JEAN SUTHERLAND

SJOE, Mwisho seems to have blind-sided just about everyone with his Head of House switch on Monday night!

Now friend and foe alike are devouring ‘The Art of War’, as they try to decode the meaning of the Tanzanian lover boy’s move. Don’t even go there, peeps!
But eish, before I utter one more word, decode has nothing to do with daCode! DaCode, of course, is one of the three housemates up for possible eviction this Sunday.
The Malawian was nominated along with hunky Nigerian Uti and Mwisho.
And then came the curve ball! Most BBA fans thought they had Mwisho’s thinking down pat and that he would switch himself with either Botswana’s Ka-zero, aka Kaone, or Moz girl Jen.
Not Mwisho. He threw Munya into the mix again! And boy are tongues a-Twitter and Twitterers all tongue-tied! Oh twit!!
One theory is that Mwisho is “more shrewd than a Manchurian magician” and has set up a test of strength between Uti and Munya; another is that he wants daCode out and doesn’t want to leave it to chance, though why that would be a factor is beyond me.
If he’s thinking of a voting arm-wrestle between Uti and … ta-ra, ta-ra … the great, the one, the only, the incomparable, the untouchable, the bullet-proof, the chosen one, the one, the only – oops, I’ve already said that – Munya (that make you happy, Munya fans?), having Code in the mix muddies the waters.
Eish, I don’t know. But what I do know is that Mwisho is a lot sharper than many give him credit for! On the other hand, it doesn’t mean he’s not stepping into a big, fat cow pat!
The Munya brigade are already moo-ing … eish, baying for his blood.

MY LEFT FOOT!

Otherwise peeps, can’t spend long with you today. Sill feeling the heat from a weekend in the North.
So just a few business announcements! Sort of … OK, the housemates have been given a ‘romantic’ task this week. And yes, all those pharisee wannabes out there, please take note that romance is not the same as lust! So pack your pulpits away for now …
Both the housemates and the Barn brigade have to get their tutus on, their disco moves up and break it down on the dance floor.
They’re expected to express their “romantic nature” through dance. Each day they’ll be given music for a different type of dance. Not only do they have to master a particular style in one day, they have to choreograph it too! Yesterday it was all about jetés, pirouettes and pas de deuxs. Yip, ballet!
I don’t know about the dying swan, but Ka-mis had what looked like dying springboks on his feet as he pranced around, twirling an animated Paloma as if she were his Juliet.
That being said, he was remarkably light on his feet, though his arms seemed to be receiving directions from unknown forces.
Ka-zero could easily lose his day job and direct peak-hour traffic!
There again, Paloma is a whole lot of women and needs a whole of direction.
Still, even the amply endowed Paloma was tripping it light! But I just hope the choreography doesn’t extend to a balletic lift … Ka-mis could end up as recycled as his springbokkie shoes … eeeeuuuuuuuw.
Spare a thought for Madam Palaver, she has to do every dance routine with big, red boxing gloves courtesy of this week’s eviction dagger, which was thrown her way by Sheila.
Juicy news from The Barn is that Hanni, aka action armpits, seems to be cooling towards Tati. Ouch!!
During his diary session yesterday he told Biggie that his relationship with the Angolan diva is “going downhill”.
“I hope there are no emotions because she seems to be taking this like a relationship which I can’t handle, it’s a little too much,” he said.
Hmmmmmm … wonder if it has anything to do with the arrival of Sheila in The Barn! Ai, Hanni.
Stay tuned!
