Snakes in the house!

DRAMA, protests, fights, attitude, boxers and briefs – these are just some of the things Biggie’s All Stars are made of. Things in the house are definitely becoming more and more interesting with each passing day.

HORROR ISLAND

This week’s task is all about getting the housemates to face their fears.
It has seen housemates plunging their hands into a bowl of massive, live, biting roaches in an attempt to retrieve a golden coin. In addition, they have had to gulp down a questionable cocktail mix that included raw eggs, pickled fish and Tabasco as some of the ingredients and pour hot wax on their bare backs.
As if things couldn’t get any scarier, Biggie yesterday added snakes to the equation. Housemates were told they have a terrible incurable disease and the only cure is the Golden Snake, kept in the Glass House and guarded by other snakes. The all important clue is that this golden snake is not real. But the rest of them are!
This task was greeted with horror, panic attacks, screams and a few tears. Just before it was Meryl’s turn to enter the Glasshouse, Lerato and Munya were seen rubbing her back, urging her to breathe.
A shaking Meryl was so overcome by fear that she even shed a few tears. To her credit, she braved her fears and ventured into the glasshouse and did her bit.
The housemates who did not have much trouble with this task included Jen (can you believe it? especially after her scream-a-second encounter with the cockroaches the previous day), Hannington and Mwisho. Paloma must have been the hardest hit by this task as she continued to shake long after she had left the Glasshouse. Paloma also cried up a storm after the hot candle pouring wax task, which she said would give her blisters.

UTI vs YACOB

A verbal fight between Uti and Yacob almost turned physical. The drama began when Uti, the Nollywood star a.k.a Mr Joke, unleashed his tongue and said something that Yacob said  ‘insulted’ his culture and ethnicity.
Uti said he was joking, as usual. Of course Yacob did not think it was a joke and told Uti to his face that he (Uti) didn’t have a life otherwise he would not be in the Big Brother house.
Yacob continued hurling insults at the Nollywood player remarking that one of the reasons he was up for eviction in the first place was because he has an attitude … I swear I could see the sparks flying; the tension in that room was sooooo high. “How low are you, why would everyone nominate you”? Yacob uttered.
Uti hit back telling Yacob that he understood why Big Brother 4 winner, Kevin, had not invited Yacob to Nigeria. Uti also hit back y throwing names at Yacob, including ‘Little Bo-Peep’ and ‘Little girl’. The F word played quite a major role in this fight.
Uti is the same man who confided in his fellow housemates not so long ago that he did not wash his boxers with every bath he took – apparently he only washes them after he has worn them twice or something. And as for his jeans, they only see water after he has worn them at least 10 times minimum … Lord have mercy!
The picture that Hannington is painting for BBA viewers is that he has fallen for Sheila – whether his feelings are genuine or not remains to be seen. On Tuesday brotherman gave Sheila a ‘promise ring’, after confessing his strong feelings ‘of like’ for her and even told her that he was willing that they take their relationship beyond their BBA experience.

Not so long ago, Hanny had a heart to heart with Uti where he told him that he wanted to drop the whole ‘Sheila business’. It seems Hannington subsequently had a change of heart, hence the ring. Sheila did not want the ring though and told him that she could not accept it because she wanted him to have fun in the House. Hannington right away asked her how she thought having her next to him would not be fun. After much persistence, Hannington decided that Sheila should do whatever she wanted with the ring, she could even throw it away for all he cared.
In the end, Sheila gave in and kept the ring. It wasn’t long after that when the walls of Hannington’s heart came crumbling down after Sheila dropped a bomb that she was already seeing someone outside the House.
This led Hannington to demand for his promise ring back but Sheila did not want to give it back. Eish, I wish these two could just sort out their heads and hearts instead of confusing the living daylights out of us all.
