I am a victim of fraud, and like for most other victims of fraud in Namibia the police are unable to apprehend the man who drove off with my car from my nephew’s house where I left it when I went abroad for one month. The police know exactly where this criminal is because I have given them all the necessary information about this man but they are still unable to apprehend and bring him to face justice.
Little wonder though, when one reads about the frivolous game between the Namibian Police and their Angolan counterparts, vis-a-vis Lazarus Shaduka, one begins to lose hope in the Namibian police’s ability to keep law and order in this country. I cannot blame all this on our Namibian police especially when I hear that their annual salaries are less than the monthly pay of their highest ranked officer, who earns too much compared to his lower ranked officers. It makes me feel that law and order will never be maintained in Namibia until corruption and other problems are addressed.
Therefore, Prime Minster, you are our last hope that when you finally take over the running of this country you look into addressing the law and order problem plus all other vices which are destroying our beloved country.
