Nujoma’s Struggle Helper Turned Away

I WANT to express my views in this newspaper and they should be directed to the minister of veterans affairs and the ‘Father of the Nation’. This is about war veterans who were helping hands to Swapo’s liberation struggle within the borders of Namibia.

I know someone close to me who closely/directly assisted Sam Nujoma and his party during this epic time. She was advised by someone that if she really did assist the way she explained, then she should be part of the last veterans that were registered nationwide. As the registration was already done regionally she made her way to Windhoek.
Do you know the answer she got from the veterans ministry? They told her that it is a sensitive issue since it involves the big man (Nujoma). They did not want her to get close to the former president so that he could listen and remember if she was telling the truth (as this is the only way her story can be verified).
Are we serving our people with justice in this democratic nation?
I want former President Nujoma to read this letter and the minister of veterans to answer this letter too.
