Toilet Terms And Conditions

THOSE complaining of N$20 million misused by the Omusati Regional Council on expensive toilets (known as the Omusati toilets saga) have not seen anything yet.

They should visit Oshana Region to see the real misuse/abuse and wastage of public funds by the Oshana Regional Council, which spent the whole 20 million dollars on useless toilet facilities.
The facilities are a mockery to environmental compatibility. It is a bucket system with a lot of ridiculous conditions such as “no urine in the pot; no toilet paper in the pot; no diarrhoea; and not to be used more than 10 times a day!”
Whoever came up with that useless idea must have a hidden agenda or does not fit to be in the regional council.
Serious investigation is urgently needed there to end the wastage of scarce public resources. The durability of those facilities is questionable, negative public reaction is rife and maintenance is another problem. Council should consider different types of toilets in future.
