Mini Brains Attack The Mini Skirt

I THINK enough has been said about getting our priorities straight and actually focusing our energy and resources towards issues that are much more serious than the miniskirt.

The debate around this issue is rather ridiculous and autocratic. It now looks like we are making excuses for rapists and making it sound that it is much more acceptable to rape because the woman’s dress suggests it.
For your information, it is not only women who are being raped. Rape is a personal choice and if any more attention should be focused on this issue, I suggest that both men and women should join efforts in trying to live in harmony with each other. Men and women should make it their priority to choose to do right, just like you don’t walk into a shop, pick merchandise and walk out of the shop without paying for it. You should also make it a point to see a woman dressed in a miniskirt and leave her alone. Whether women dress in miniskirts to invite attention from men or not, make it a personal motto not to fall into their traps.
My argument is neither for nor against the miniskirts, as it merely focuses on societal behaviour. People shouldn’t live in fear and their freedom and comfort shouldn’t be limited just because the opposite sex cannot behave in a decent and civilised manner.
