Please note that during the minister’s consultations in Cuban hospitals his deputy minister was in charge and the entire staff were hard at work to make sure the ministry’s activities and duties were executed as planned. Moreover, every Namibian is entitled to seek medical help where he/she wants, provided he/she pays for it. Iyambo’s health is a private issue and has nothing to do with the dilapidated health institutions in Namibia, nor has the health system anything to do with an individual seeking medical assistance where he/she can afford it. Moreover, Iyambo was not the minister of health and he has not prevented the institution to acquire whatever support it needed. Stop being jealous of other people. You have no right whatsoever to tell people where they must go for health treatment. After all, the period he was in Cuba was his holiday time and every Namibian is entitled to have annual leave.
In your letter there was nothing to prove that during his absence there were some pending issues which needed to be taken care of. One may come to the conclusion that is is pure jealousy because perhaps you cannot afford to have such medical treatment. For your own information if you can afford something that you think can benefit you, go for it. Remember being a public finger does not mean you are not allowed to seek assistance where you can!
