Questions For Pohamba

DEAR President Pohamba, it is satisfying to read about your drive to eradicate corruption. This is a step forward, which is welcomed by us Namibians. When you are deploying your team, it is recommended that you start with your state-owned enterprises, and consider the following:

Namibia gained independence 23 years ago. At that time any person who would have been eligible to be employed would have been 17 years old. Let’s say the colonial government considered this a legal age. Now that person would be 40 years old and a mature age to be employed with the basic necessary schooling.
Provide us with an breakdown of how many of your SOE have employees that are 40+ and are black; Provide us with a breakdown of how many of those SOE CEO’s have been fully educated in Namibia? Provide us with a breakdown of how many of those previously disadvantaged 40+ are males and females? Provide us with a breakdown of the tribes of each employee? Provide us with a breakdown of how many of those previously disadvantaged have spent all 23 years in Namibia building our nation?
