Blame It On The West

I RESPECTFULLY beg to differ with your 5 April editorial entitled ‘Speak Truth to Friends’ regarding Zimbabwe. You have to realise that the Zimbabwe under Mugabe from 1980 to 2000 was a beautiful country until Morgan Tsvangirai, the Western stooge and sellout, came onto the scene to cause trouble – begging for sanctions against Zimbabwe because of the land reform.

The power- hungry Tsvangirai and his MDC [Movement for Democratic Change] party have not only demonised Mugabe but they also demonise their country wherever they go, forgetting that Zimbabwe is their motherland. Zimbabweans are mistreated in other African countries not because of Mugabe but because of the self-hating MDC supporters who spread falsehoods and negativity about Zimbabwe. If you do not respect your motherland, no-one will respect you.
I have no problem with someone who disagrees with Mugabe, but I do have problems with someone who trashes his motherland. Hundreds of mischievous NGOs have sprouted in Zimbabwe not because they care about the Zimbabwean people but because they want to get money from their western sponsors.
You have to open your eyes and stop believing everything that you hear from the Western media.
Zimbabwe has had 20 years of prosperity and good leadership under Mugabe and 10 years of suffering because of sanctions brought by Tsvangirai. This is the greatest accomplishment that Tsvangirai, the Western puppet has achieved, forgetting that sanctions do not hurt Mugabe but they hurt ordinary Zimbabweans who are forced to flee their country in search of greener pastures.
Is it possible that just as you believe the West has run a good propaganda campaign against President Robert Mugabe and Zanu PF, it may very well be Mugabe’s manipulation to blame their excesses on ‘’imperialists’’?
