ALLOW me space in your newspaper to express my concern over the Unam (University of Namibia) situation. It is very sad to learn that an institution that trains counsellors is the most troubled one. The University of Namibia is the only institution of higher learning in Namibia where Social Workers and Psychological Counsellors are enrolled.

The University has over 10,000  students and two social workers cannot do it alone. Counselling is a process that needs follow up and observation. Many students come from very far and at times they need someone to talk to. The University does not play a role at all. Employ your graduates, they can help this institution.

If you can’t trust your own education as some of the best, where does our future fit in here? Was our tuition fee for nothing?
