Gospel Artists Need Recognition

NAMIBIA is a nation blessed with truly unique and captivating gospel singers, yet these men and women don’t get the recognition that they deserve, except for the Gospel category in the past Sanlam NBC music awards and now the NAMAS.

They work tirelessly day and night to produce music that is good for the spiritual growth of gospel music lovers. I personally think that it is about time that the likes of the Council Of Churches of Namibia, NASCAM, the corporate world, supporters and all the other  interested parties, take hands and organise gospel awards to thank these men and women for their tireless efforts.
Gospel award shows could be held to honour them in this different genre of the music that they produce. By doing this we will also lead to their overall success in their careers and create exposure for these selfless individuals. Why are other countries honouring these individuals on a bigger platform? Let’s therefore take each other’s hands and honour these spiritual heroes and heroines.
