We Don’t Deserve Punishment

I AM a Grade 12 student at St Paul’s College and there has been some great concern that we might need to rewrite our examinations thanks to the children who stole the [exam] papers.

I would just like to say that our school has done nothing wrong and we see before every examination that our papers are sealed within a package as the ministry has given it to our head invigilator. Should we need to rewrite, it will compromise all of our futures as we have been accepted to universities and want to go further our education.
We do not deserve to be punished for someone else’s actions. We have worked and studied so hard to get good marks that it is unfair to put us through this stress again.
We want to become adults and contribute to the Namibian economy, and not have to remain students and rewrite examinations just because some children in other parts of the country do not understand discipline.
