I am a principal but I do not only teach religion, I also teach English. In actual fact, there are those principals who took part in the strike, and there are those who are not cooperating with the directives to report those teachers who were on the illegal strike, as it is because of such teachers that we got what we got at the end of the day.
If a teacher has something against the principal at a particular school, there should be another platform where such an issue can be addressed. I will not be surprised if I see some people calling on primary school teachers to square up against secondary school teachers.
The reason why principals remained at schools is to make sure that when everyone was gone the school was securely closed, after all the same teachers blaming principals were going to come back and blame the principals for leaving the school in shambles.
Every strike has an end, and if you don’t mind about the state in which you leave your school, you will be sorry when you come back.
Be careful of what you are preaching.
