People of Namibia lets face the reality, in Namibia the cheapest land costs you N$15,000 and in Windhoek the cheapest land costs you N$50,000. People who get wages of N$5 per hour will be unable to buy land.
It is about time that our leaders got serious and stop cheap politics. Why do we have to suffer like this in our own country? Why do we have to suffer like this under the leadership for our own brothers and sisters?
I do understand that it is illegal but how many shacks were erected? If they were more than 15, demolishing was not the solution because this is a good indication that people are in need of land.
Does the City of Windhoek plan to build something on that land or did they just demolish because they do not want people there?
Please City of Windhoek leaders sit around your table and think about your nation. I think there is no one who wants to own land illegally but we find ourselves in this situation.
The mayor of the City of Windhoek look after your people.
