A Prayer For The Youth

HOLY God, for the sake of a peaceful Namibia’s future, deliver us patriotic Namibians from the Supreme Court verdict on the 2009 election challenge safely before mid-June 2012.

O Lord if it is your wish, restore for us the image of Kaptein Hendrik Witbooi on the N$10 and N$20 notes at the right time but very soon. O Great Lord, God of our fathers and mothers, we thank you for having driven out colonisers and colonialism from Namibia and delivered this beautiful country and all its natural resources into the hands of Namibians for settlement and usage by Namibians in 1990.
O Lord, you certainly saw how our land and other national resources later got hijacked by a gang of plutocrats, their next of kin and associates at the expense of poor Namibians. We know O Lord that you don’t want this and that you shall punish the culprits.
O Lord we again pray that you dethrone or unseat very soon, the gang of plutocrats, corrupt and selfish leaders who ruled Namibia since 1990. O Lord, you know where public funds stolen by a gang of our new local colonisers are hidden both inside and outside Namibia. We pray that you unveil very soon all stolen and hitherto hidden public wealth.
You know that the people of Namibia are very patient and tolerant even amid disaster, poverty and hunger although they are certainly not cowards. We pray, O Lord, that you deliver to all the people of Namibia, a clear future vision and wake them all up from their deep sleep so much so that they shall very soon move to bring about change in this beautiful country Namibia. Halleluja, Amen!!
