Causing Social Crises

I AM puzzled by what I heard from our leaders about the so-called ‘special’ kids of the liberation struggle.

Firstly, if they are special then the nation needs to hear what makes them special. If it is about suffering in Angola and Zambian camps, then many Namibians deserve to be treated as special too, because we endured much more suffering in Namibia than that.
My concern about this issue is only that if special treatment is granted to these so-called kids, I am afraid if they, together with some of their parents, may not be able to keep our ruling Swapo Party in power, because I believe many unemployed Namibians who were not in exile will no longer vote, or will vote for other parties that make ‘appealing’ promises. Our leaders should please start to make the correct judgements that will not put our country in social crisis.
