The State Is A Swindler

THE state itself has become the biggest swindler. No wonder people are horrified. Just imagine, I marked 348 Grade 10 scripts in seven days, including Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 10pm.

Then on the eighth day I claimed N$3,761.80, which is absolutely peanuts compared to the job done. Sadly, on the 7th of December an amount of N$2,558.08 was deposited into my bank account after the tax man had taken N$1,203.80 for all my efforts.
Its a shame and something needs to be done as we teachers are taken for a ride. We will no longer submit as our misery will increase.
