However, we should first ask the government why such a threatening law is to be established in this third-world country. If that knowledge is established, one will be able to see more clearly.
The proposed law would be counterproductive to anything the Namibian nation needs. It would sabotage Vision 2030. It would be a law as none before in any progressive country we know of. It would send a signal to all and sundry to stay outside Namibia if science is your ‘thing’, if using your brain is your thing. Such a law would mark this country as a dark one, as a country led by the blind and the deaf. Such a law will effectively ruin Namibia. It will put us on the road back to the Stone Age.
So, let us first urgently ask the minister of education to explain this law, its reasons and purpose in the holistic context; there must be some explanation. There must be an intention for something so strange! If not, we should ask who then is allowed to play and fool around with our government’s resources, because without an explanation, this seems to be a fooling around.
Minister of Education Abraham Iyambo has to do his duty, which includes being accountable to this nation! He has to answer our question!
