I decided to visit TransNamib to see if one can buy a property from the company. It was during lunch, so I decided to try my luck and see if I could find anyone, since I was in front of the building already.
Lady luck was on my side. The first person I saw in the corridor was the friendly lady who works with estates. She welcomed me in her office. She advised me on the property available and what I needed to do. During my stay in Windhoek, I have never received such good, prompt, articulate, friendly service; she marketed her company’s popular Desert Express so well that we are planning to come with our family to travel with this famous train.
Mind you, it was during the employee’s lunch time. As if that was not enough, when my wife’s phone battery went flat she offered her own mobile phone for our usage.
When we were back in Cape Town and discussed our trip to Namibia, my wife and I decided this was one of the highlights of our trips.
That is why we decided to publicly say thanks to the kind hospitality we received from the TransNamib employee (first name supplied). May you keep promoting my beautiful motherland Namibia.
A special thanks to Air Namibia for their delicious meals, though our hostess was not friendly.
