Students Forced To Live In Shebeens

PLEASE Minister of Education, Abraham Iyambo, I’m asking you to intervene in the situation which is currently prevailing at Unam Ogongo Campus.

Some students have moved out of the hostel because the loan amount is not enough and they have to top up a lot of money which the majority of us cannot afford at all.
The worse part is that of the students who moved out, the majority are now staying at shebeens about 3km away from campus.
As a concerned student I think this situation will somehow affect students and they might end up failing.
Some students are thinking of quitting school because of financial problems.
I had to convince one student to come back this semester as she was quitting school due to that.
I have heard that the loan amount will be increased but I’m not sure if it’s true or just rumours. Please, Minister, hear our pleas. The fees are very high.
