God Has Not Moved

I’M writing in response to a article published in your newspaper, dated 20th April 2012, titled ‘Has God Moved Offices?’ by Basilius M Kasera.

As much as we are all entitled to our opinions, as children of God it is very wrong to judge one another. Those of us who are in position of authority should use our authority to build and not to condemn others. It’s one thing to be sceptical but it’s another thing when it’s done to attack someone’s character. TB Joshua is not the Messiah and he never said that he was, just like many he is an instrument of God, who is called to carry out his mighty works! We are too quick to call everyone a false prophet!
In the article Kasera says and I quote “I’m sceptical about anything that promises a quick fix to people’s problems. Anything that robs people of character developing, from taking responsibility over their actions and tenacity to cope with difficult situations of life must be looked upon with suspicion – for this it is just too good to be true”.
I’m sure Kasera will agree with me that in theory it is easy to say that people should learn to cope with their difficult situations but in reality it’s a whole different ball game. You can never understand to what length someone is willing to go to get help from the calamities of life unless you have lived it yourself.
There is nothing wrong in going to Nigeria to see the man of God, Prophet TB Joshua (especially for those of us who know that he truly is a man of God). Ultimately it’s a matter of choice, so if people want to spend their hard earned money to travel to see the man of God, so be it! I guess it’s because people see results that they opt to go there in the first place. What we fail to understand is that, in the end we receive what we want according to our faith!
TB Joshua and the Emmanuel TV partners have done a lot in terms of humanitarian work around the world and more especially in Nigeria, because TB Joshua understands that charity begins at home!
Kasera seems only to focus on the ‘problem-solving’ part of his Ministry. Please let’s give credit where it is due! The magic water as he calls it, is referred to as the anointing water! Yes God can use any medium to show his power and water can be one of them. I see nothing strange in that!
So Kasera, to answer your question, no, God has not moved his offices from heaven, he has set up branches of his church all over the world, for all to freely visit.
