Africa Does It On World Cup

ONCE again, Africa has made it! Once again, the peoples of the continent of Africa, led by battle hungry South Africa has made it in their millions, to host arguably the greatest sport festivity on the earth - the World Cup!

Ours must be now only to work hard, to show to all and sundry that

together, collectively as Africans, believing that we have built

the ancient Eqyptian pyramids and Castle for Jan van Riebeeck, that

we are able to build stadiums and speedily prepare everything in

time for 2010 World Cup.

All of us together in SADC and elsewhere on this great continent

of ours, will benefit from this 2010 World Cup hosting in SA.

 

We must together with expert labour movement policies and

protocols in SACU and SADC make sure that we commit our top brains

towards this project.

 

It must be what I would coin, a New Partnership for Africa's

World Cup 2010 operation.

 

Once again, the dreams and aspirations of Kwame Nkrumah of

Ghana, Akaziwe of Nigeria, Nujoma of Namibia, Nasser of Egypt,

Robert Resha and Parks Mankalahna of South Africa has been

realised.

 

This must be indeed a victorous moment for all the inhabitants

of Africa.

 

Tata Mandela and Thabo Mbeki's country that lies on the south of

Africa.

 

Still Africa has arisen to claim its rightful place amonsgt its

peers.
