Praise For Swakop Police

I WOULD like to thank Namibian Police Swakopmund branch for their very efficient service recently.

I hired a house in Swakopmund on 21 Feb 2004 and at 0400 the next

morning I was awoken by the police informing me that the house has

been broken into.

They wanted to know what was taken and I could not tell them

because I was not yet aware that the house had been burgled! It

turns out that the police had two men in custody they had

apprehended running down the street.

 

One of my guests had heard a noise in the living room and shone

her torch and scared off the thieves right into the arms of the

police.

 

I was very impressed that the police had the thieves in custody

before I even knew we had been burgled.
