Marriage Problems Make Life Hell for Children
Dear Nation WE are two children, a brother and a sister.
One is eleven and one is nine.
Our parent's marriage is falling apart.
We are writing to complain about women's abuse in marriages by
the husbands and the divorce system.
I really don't think it's fair that my father can commit
adultery, and when my mother files for divorce, he doesn't want to
sign and she's stuck in a marriage with emotional and physical
abuse.
Please help us to change the rules of divorce so that if a women
wants to divorce and the man does not, she can get a divorce and
start a new life.
Most of these men are priests, teachers and respected men.
Women do this too.
My father brings his girlfriend into the house and the parent's
family and friends came and threatened us.
We are so scared of them.
We don't concentrate in school anymore because we are thinking
of our mommy.
We have asked the Women and Child Ministry in Windhoek for help,
but nothing happens.
We need help please.
What can be done about this?
