SKW bags hat trick of Khomas titles by Staff Reporter
SPORT Klub Windhoek won three titles as the Khomas youth leagues came to a grand conclusion at the NFA Technical Centre in Windhoek on Saturday afternoon. SKW won the Under 11, 15 and 17 titles during on the final day of action that saw many talented youngsters showing promise for the future.

THE NFA Technical Centre in Windhoek will be a hive of activity on Saturday as the Khomas youth leagues conclude with exciting match-ups for league honours in 2013.

No fees for N$2000 cash deposits by
THE Bank of Namibia has announced that all banking institutions have implemented free cash deposits standard for the first N$2 000 deposited per month. The central bank and the commercial banks had set 31 July as the deadline for the implementation of the policy. The new policy will apply on all savings and investment accounts held by individuals at banking institutions, the central bank said.
SA banks face headwinds from tough economy by
FITCH Ratings said in a new special report on Friday that although most South African banks’ earnings enjoyed strong growth in 2012,the rate of improvement is not sustainable. This is due to headwinds from sustained low interest rates, slow GDP growth and a relatively saturated lending market, which may put pressure on credit growth in the sector’s traditional business areas, Fitch said in a statement.
