Prime Minister Hage Geingob
PRIME MINISTER Hage Geingob was last week rushed to Medi-Clinic in Windhoek following an undisclosed health scare.
Swapo Party secretary general Nangolo Mbumba yesterday confirmed that Geingob was admitted at the hospital and that he had since been released.
Although Mbumba could not give more details because he was out of town, he, however, said Geingob was well and resting at his home.
A Medi-Clinic employee who declined to give personal details said Geingob was brought in on Friday and was admitted in the intensive care unit until his release yesterday morning.
The employee declined to give details of Geingob’s medical problems.
Efforts to contact Geingob yesterday were fruitless because his phone was off.
