Women Rulers Bring Peace
THE world would have been a better place to live in for people if patriarchy, greed and overstaying in power did not dominate the minds of a majority of male rulers, especially in Africa.
Women are so caring, have democratic principles, treat their subjects equally and with dignity whereas this is quite the opposite for the male species who are associated with ‘passion’ killing, domestic violence, corruption, stealing, tribalism, war-lords etc.
Look at how President Joyce Banda of Malawi and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, the only women presidents in Africa, have transformed, inspired, instilled a sense of worth and self-esteem among their fellow women around the globe.
These strong women have restored peace in their countries and also saved their countries from the wrath of corruption, moral decay and they revived the economic fortunes of their respective countries.
It’s time the old guard, who are enemies of change, retired so that women can take up the leadership roles and we will see how Africa and the rest of the world will progress and there won’t be power struggles, coups, civil unrest and hunger.
