BLOEMFONTEIN Celtic coach Clinton Larsen is happy with his side’s new signings, which include Namibian internationals Willy Stephanus and Denzil Haoseb.
Larsen confirmed his contentment with the new recruits after his team went down 4-1 to Kaizer Chiefs in the final of the Gauteng Cup on Sunday
The Namibian pair are among seven new players who ran out for ‘Phunya Sele Sele’ in their two pre-season games against the ‘AmaKhosi’ and the University of Pretoria.
“A month ago we watched Nigeria versus Namibia and spotted them and acquired the two players; we are very happy to have those two,” Larsen is quoted as saying on popular South African football magazine Kick Off’s website yesterday. “Willy Stephanus in particular, I think he is going to grow. He is a wide player who can take on players and is comfortable on both feet,” added Larsen.
Celtic have also acquired the services of Musa Nyatama and Wandisile Letlabika from Sundowns, Lerato Lamola from Roses United in the National First Division, Keagan Buchanan from FC Cape Town
