What Swapo Is Scared Of

HOW very, very sad that those who fought for freedom and democracy do not see that still as everybody’s right today.

Sadly some of the leading politicians only see things their way and make loud and uncharitable noises denouncing those who have every right to think differently. What satisfaction is there in inciting hatred?
The ruling party only sees things through its eyes as did the Colonial government. They are perpetrating the past. Now with Independence they expect everyone to see things through their blinkers. Have they forgotten this was one of the very things they fought for. This is the sure and slippery slide to Dictatorship.
Why do they expect that the non Swapo people should be dictated to and not be allowed to have freedom of expression? We all have minds of our own and we have a right to express this.
Like with all religions we see our religion as the best but that does not mean that other religions are wrong – they just see it in a different light. We do not go about denouncing others because they are not of our faith yet Swapo is doing exactly that. Where did they get this authority from?
Worldwide newspapers always highlight what they see as wrong. Have they no right to express this? Should these facts be hidden from the public? Or are they just ashamed of their wrong doings?
This is one of the best ways of putting wrong to right – think of all the scandals worldwide that have surfaced because a newspaper took it on itself to expose what they knew to be wrong. Is this what Swapo leaders are scared of?
