Unity For New Order

ALLOW me some space simply to expess my thoughts.

Swapo has been pretending all along that there was unity witihin

it's structures, but it was obvious that there was no unity at all.

The events that precipitated the Extra-ordinary Congress last

year simply let the cat out of the bag on what I believe has been

happening in the Party since time-immemorial.

What the nation witnessed last year was the repercussion of the

seeds of discord that have been sowed in the Swapo party in the

past.

It was not good for the Party to sweep the issues under the

carpet and pretend all was well until the situation blew up because

concealment could no longer succeed.

The key to peace and unity now in Swapo is first to console the

down-trodden, those whose reputations were spoiled by trumped-up

allegations simply to strip them of their worth.

To unseat them totally from Cabinet in the new Government will

fuel more unrest in the nation.

Advice to all politicians and aspiring politicians: 'The truth

shall set you free'.

A leader is not supposed to engage in gossip and all sorts of

dirty games.

In the new government let us see unity.

As a nation, we do not want to see our leaders pointing fingers

at each other.
