LawSure enters legal insurance market
A new legal insurance company, LawSure Ltd, has entered the local market, promising to be highly competitive in their products, service and overall business approach.
LawSure Ltd is a wholly-owned Namibian public company, tapered to
fit the needs of Namibians of all walks of life.
"It is an honourable, completely workable concept," says LawSure
Ltd majority shareholder Danie Botes, proudly emphasising the
company's local roots, their conviction to work closely with the
relevant authorities and their firm belief that all legitimate
claims merit the best professional attention.
The Namfisa-registered public company will soon "include a black
economic empowerment (BEE) shareholder" Botes said.
Windhoek serves as headquarters, with a branch in Oshakati.
Future expansion include branches in Rundu, Katima Mulilo,
Walvis Bay, and Ondangwa.
Botes also announced, the well-known Namibian rugby player,
Wolfie Duvenhage will head LawSure Ltd as Managing Director.
Duvenhage, the former Financial Manager of FinEd, earned respect
in the financial world when he helped to build FinEd into one of
the major micro lenders in Namibia.
LawSure is set to secure a stronghold in the local market,
primarily because of its low premiums and a cash no claim
bonus.
The latter is a first for Namibia.
