I found myself again at grips with what the National Planning Commission (NPC) is doing when its conducting this year's census. I understand the fact everybody in the country needs to be counted, but what I dont understand is why did they choose people who already have occupational status to them already? I thought Mr Tom Alweendo said they will mainly look into the unemployed section of the population to employe as this census' enumerators/on field officers, but suprising enough, Windhoek's appointees are mostly tertiary students who have got this job. How are we going to eradicate unemployment when there is still favourtism within our country? I mean this NPC guys could have just told the nation that they needed people from Tertiary institutions to conduct the census!!! But I guess thats how things are meant to be in Namibia, corrupt just like that... Well brother cant do anything but just sit back and wait for the 2014 Election period and then I can have my say in this country's issues, I just hope by than we will not be having a civil war and be torn apart into two.. I rest my case, and still unemployed.. |

And then they talking about development and accommodating all...I know what your talking about, the same thing happened here where I live..most working people I know even took leave to work for census. How they allowed such corrupt acts? Only they will know!...all I can say is that if they let such small acts of corruptness pass them by, what else is happening in our country? :X |
