Hi guys you may not have seen me here before, but that's because I'm relatively new at this. So please excuse me where my posts are done in an unconventional manner as I am still " learning the ropes " when it comes to the art of self-expression. It is by this exact virtue that I'd like to ask for your opinion as to what should be done to help stimulate greater youth participation on all major levels of society.
Being young myself I only recently awoke from the mildly toxic state of being that is IGNORANCE. I'd like to become more involved in society while helping to inspire other young people to do the same.
I think the creation and promotion of a reading culture is good starting point as I understand that " Intelligence is the door to freedom and alert attention is the mother of intelligence, " and what better way to become alert than to live in the real world as opposed to the automaticity and unconsciousness that is the status quo amoungst the youth. However how do we go about creating this culture and making sure that it is attractive enough for the youth?
