It's so sad to observe how some office bearers use workers to access political positions. A situation which should not be tolerated where office bearers of Union's use their positions to become Board members of Companies which is a direct conflict of interest. Really, I don't know how this is allowed. The directives to negotiate with the Union comes from the board on which this Union office bearer is serving. Note: Being a board member you must carry the interest of the institution first before you think of the Workers. What are you doing? True sell-outs, camouflage self enrichment schemes, thats what it is.

It so happens that in local Authorities shop stewards are serving on higher political structures then their Councilors, what a skew situation. How do you control and direct the organisation you are heading?

What happen to the true trade Unionism? Or is the situation of such that everyone is thinking of his/her bread at the cost of the those they are suppose to serve?
