That is so typical, the worst is that the "Unknown Sot" is made out of Fibre Glass? If I understood the article correct. The fact that the horseman was made of bronze of collected from spent shell casings of the colonial wars means nothing to our cheap and plastic government. This is outrageous and racial and the "Unknown Sot" should go back from where he came and stay unknown. What is next the Alte Veste, The Franke tower, World War Memorial?

I am so shocked that our government officials can't be original enough to build their own identity that they have to use old monuments to get an idea. Or have the audacity to desecrate a national monument. They have no right. What does the unknown Soldier represent? the soldiers that died during the border war? I can tell you all that those who died in that war, the so called Plan, were not soldiers. They were common folk given weapons and lies. It just makes sense why so many plan fighters died, two hours drill training and one hour to shoot a weapon does not make you a soldier.
No I believe that the SWAPO government feels bad they had to send to many people to die for them that they show a act of remorse to desecrate a German National Identity. icon_mad.gif

Dear Goverment.

Dont you dare take down any monuments and replace them with non-sence plasitc stuff. If it should happen those statues will be a different colour every day and you will not be able to find who did it.

Nuff Said.

Does this remind anyone of the kitschy golden plastic Welwitschias on the state house fence?
