One is almost too afraid to speak out in what you believe a governing body should be. As Swapo will for a fact make those silent. Is that democracy? I think not I like to call it Communism with Marxist Ideals. Why would our President Mr. Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba go to study politics in the Soviet Union in the early 1980? I can assure you that it was not democracy as this current government would put forth.
What is the problem with affirmative action? Surly after eighteen years this should not be in effect anymore, a whole generation had the time to wise up and take control. I am a White Male and I just think it unfair as I am one of this new generation who did wise up and studied my behind off to be who I am today. Professional in my field and an ambassador to my trade, in my community I am a respected individual. And the best is I got where I am today with no help financially from my White Parents. No I studied for seven years on bursaries and grants in The USA, Switzerland, and France, if I could do it and have the ambition to succeed then why not others. Now I have to stand back and see how a uneducated person take my job and say nothing. That is not fair, nor democratic.
Politically I am inept, there is no organisation in this country that I wish to support, but inevitably I will have to vote for some halveassed organisation and hope they will not bend me over. And I know there are others who feel like me and choose not to vote? but where is that going to bring us. We must be heard and we must be considered it is to an extent our constitutional right
This is so frustrating..... any help any one?
