Headman Heitha dies

THE spokesman of the Oukwanyama Traditional Authority in the Ohangwena Region, Michael Heitha, died at the Ongwediva Private Hospital on Wednesday after a long illness.


Heitha, who was the senior headman of the Efinde area, was the right hand of the Oukwanyama queen, Martha Mwadinomho Nelumbu.

Heitha is survived by his wife, Theopolina Sheetekela, and 19 children.

According to one of his children, Eunice Heitha, he will be buried at Okatope village this Saturday.

His memorial service will be held on Friday afternoon at his home village of Epatululo.
