"We were preparing the terrain in Rovinj for a month," he added. The preparations kicked off on Sunday when the first seven players left for Rovinj. The rest of the squad is to arrive by Wednesday. Coach Slaven Bilic labeled the first match against Austrians, to played on June 8, as the "key one." At the European championships finals, which are to be held in Austria and Switzerland from June 7 to 29, Croatia will face Germany, Austria and Poland in Group B. Nampa-AFP |
