Brave Warriors supporters called

THE chairman of the Brave Warriors Supporters' Club, Kayele Kambombo, is calling on all national team fans to meet at the NFA's Soccer House today at 18h00.

He said the meeting is in view of Saturday's international match between Namibia and Zimbabwe in the second leg of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

"The preparation will take about an hour or less.

The Brave Warriors are put to the test this coming Saturday when Namibia will sort out matters in their second leg encounter of CHAN with their counterparts from Zimbabwe," he said.

He added: "This will be a must-win encounter to see Namibia through to the next round of the championship.

To achieve that feat, we must pack the Independence Stadium to capacity and cheer on our national team.

I urge all patriotic Namibians and sympathisers to bring along anything that makes noise, such as drums, vuvuzelas and so on.

Every supporter should bring along our national flag and sport the BWSC T-shirts to make the stadium colourful," he said.

Those who do not have the Brave Warriors replica T-shirt should "wear anything red or simply buy one at the stadium for only N$60".

"The morale of our players is highly boosted by the goalless away draw a fortnight ago in Harare.

Our boys should capitalise on home-ground advantage and unflinching support from the hordes of our supporters.

Let us give our players the support they need to take Namibia to the next round.

Supporters should come in big numbers come Saturday," he said.
