Murder in Wanaheda

A MAN was stabbed to death by unknown suspects in Wanaheda, Katutura, on Saturday night, the Police reported yesterday.

The Police say Conrad Wilbard Mbulu Shoopala (36) died on his way to hospital.

* A 25-year-old suspect was arrested in Windhoek's Okahandja Park township on Saturday on charges of robbing someone of a cellphone and N$400 in cash at gunpoint.

* At Opuwo in the Kunene Region, a 28-year-old man drowned in a dam on Friday.

The man was identified as Josua Muvangua, an employee of Grinaker Road Construction Company.

* At Ondeikela village in the Omusati Region, the body of 31-year-old Lukas Ndilipo Kamati was found in a well.

* A Chinese woman was robbed at gunpoint in her home at Outapi on Friday.

According to the Police, the robbers made off with N$300 in cash and a computer valued at N$9 000.

* A man from Ohamuyala village in the Omusati Region collapsed and died while addressing a family gathering on Friday.

The man was identified as Mulamba Iitula.
