It's apple time again!

TANJA BAUSE

THE second apple recipe competition in aid of the Cancer Association of Namibia was launched by Bank Windhoek this week.

Once again people from across the country are invited to send in their apple recipes.

The main ingredient of the recipe must be fresh apples and it must serve a minimum of six people.

The recipe can be a snack, starter, main course, dessert, tart, cake, or cocktail.

The Chefs' Association of Namibia will judge the entries and they are looking for unique dishes and ideas which promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy eating.

The winning recipe will win a weekend away at the Divava Okavango Lodge and Spa sponsored by Leading Lodges of Africa.

The winning recipe will also feature on the menus of all nine lodges operated by Leading Lodges of Africa in Namibia.
