New AIDS centre for Keetmanshoop

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia (ELCRN) opened an HIV-AIDS prevention programme centre at Keetmanshoop on Friday.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Evangelical Lutheran Aids Programme (ELCAP) regional centre, ELCRIN Secretary General Reverend Petrus van Zyl implored the community to join the fight against HIV-AIDS.

Also speaking at the event, ELCAP National Co-ordinator Reverend Abraham Kheibeb urged the community to break the silence and stigmatisation surrounding HIV-AIDS.
