Kenya now top the log with 96 points from six matches, followed by Namibia on 82 points from five matches and Scotland on 82 points from seven matches. Ireland are lying fourth on 72 points from five matches. But despite Kenya's emphatic victory, they could still miss out on a place in the final as both Namibia and Ireland could still pip them to the post. Kenya has just one match remaining, at home against Ireland, while Namibia must still play take on Ireland at home and Bermuda away. Namibia's first match is away to Bermuda from September 3 to 6 and they will be looking for victory against a Bermuda side that has struggled in the competition. Since they appeared at the 2007 Cricket World Cup finals, Bermuda's form has taken a dip and they are currently bottom of the ICC Intercontinental log with only 26 points from six matches. Namibia will therefore be hoping for a victory, but their recent inactivity could count against them. They last played a competitive match in the ICC Intercontinental Cup in April when they pulled off a stunning one-wicket victory against Scotland to go to the top of the log. According to the ICC website, Kenya had little difficulty in beating a severely depleted Dutch team in Amstelveen over the weekend. The Dutch team was without six regular players due to injury and work commitments, while two new players made their first class debuts against Kenya. The Netherlands was still in the match late on the first day when, having been bowled out for just 126, it fought back to reduce Kenya to 119-5. However, with Maurice Ouma managing the lower-order's resistance, the visitors were able to engineer a first innings lead of 127, which proved more than enough in the circumstances. Ouma's 114, including 10 fours and six sixes, was crucial in seeing the last five wickets in his side's innings add 134 despite no-one among the bottom four in the batting list reaching double figures. Peter Ongondo (5-13) then cut a swathe through the Netherlands' top-order and once it was reduced to 48-5 then there was no way back for the home side. Ongondo finished with the remarkable match figures of 24-10-27-7, another indication of his class, something also reflected in his presence in the top 20 of the Reliance Mobile ODI Player Rankings. For the Dutch, their substitute wicket keeper Aste Buurman made a battling 41, while spinner Pieter Seelaar bowled beautifully to capture 5-57. The Netherlands' campaign is now over, with three wins and four losses from its seven matches and it occupies fifth spot, a position it will retain whatever the results of the three remaining group matches.
