Warden in court over fuel

POLICE at Keetmanshoop on Friday arrested a senior park warden based at the Ai-Ais Hotspring Game Park after he was found with suspected stolen goods at a Police roadblock.

Eben Naude (52) made a brief court appearance in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate's Court later on Friday.

He was not asked to plead and is set to return to court on October 28.

Naude is free on bail of N$300.

It is reported that Naude was found in possession of four 200-litre drums of petrol suspected to have been stolen from his employer.
