Conservation meeting in Etosha

ABSALOM SHIGWEDHA

NAMIBIA will host this year's meeting of the organisation Leadership for Conservation in Africa (LCA), the chairperson of the Namibian chapter of LAC announced in Windhoek last week.

Leon Jooste, who is also the Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism, said the meeting will be held at Okaukuejo in the Etosha National Park from September 4 to 7.

About 60 delegates will attend.

Namibia's LCA Chapter was formed in July 2007.

At the moment, there are 13 LCA national chapters in Africa.

The meeting is sponsored by the Frans Indongo Group, Standard Bank Namibia, Methealth Namibia Administrators, Shell Namibia, De Beers, Sanlam Investment Management and Pupkewitz Holdings.
