Pay increase for 'sittings'

LUQMAN CLOETE

"SITTING allowances" for councillors at Keetmanshoop will increase from September 1.

The council's acting Chief Executive, Bertie Reyneke has announced that the council chairman will now receive N$4 025 a month.

The chairman's deputy and councillors serving on the management committee will receive N$3 680.

Ordinary councillors will receive N$3 400.
